Process

How a Deep Drawn Part Is Made Here

  • Blank preparation — Coil or disc blanked to diameter and thickness
  • Drawing — Hydraulic press with controlled blank-holder force
  • Multi-step drawing — Up to six stages for deep cylinders and drums
  • Annealing — Inter-stage anneal where the alloy demands it
  • Necking & flanging — Stepped diameters formed in a controlled sequence
  • Finishing — Bead blast, polish, anodize or coat on request
